About Face maintains a staff of highly trained and knowledgeable individuals to ensure our goal of premium customer service. All of our staff undergo rigorous instruction and training in customer service, bra fitting, use of our Point of Sale, and on the details of all of our clothing, lingerie, and bath and beauty products.
We pride ourselves on being recognized as the premier fit experts in Alaska, and engage with more and more customers daily in this important, and often overlooked, service. Fit training is specialized, and is a highly rewarding part of our customer service, but has a steep learning curve of about 4-6 months.
As a result, About Face looks for individuals interested in working in a customer-focused, highly rewarding, and often hectic, environment, and who are looking for long-term employment of anywhere from 20-40 hours per week. Our employees build lasting relationships with our customers, learn what they like and don't like, what brands fit best and which products serve them best, and our customers greatly appreciate that continuity of knowledge.
About Face offers very competitive pay, performance bonuses, paid vacation (earned over time), flexible schedules, and employee discounts. We are open six days a week, M-F 11-7 and Sa 10-6, with up to 30 minutes on either side if opening or closing, and all staff work some weekends. We form a team that supports one another and which provides a level of schedule flexibility.
