About Face opened its doors in October 2003 in a small space in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, becoming the first true lifestyle boutique to offer such a wide range of luxury products, most of which could not be found anywhere else in Alaska. We were voted America's #1 Best New Beauty Boutique by Lucky Magazine in their January 2004 issue. We gained further recognition as our focus moved more toward lingerie. We were nominated for The Best of Intima Awards in 2012, 2013, and 2016, and featured in The Best of Intima magazine in 2012 as part of their Worldwide Boutiques roundup. We were again featured in the French language Intima magazine in 2012 as one of their worldwide Belles Boutiques, and featured in Creations Lingerie North America's May 2013 edition in their Top Stores Summer Selection.

Local owners Leeann and Shane Taylor travel the world to find the best products available for our valued customers, with a focus on products that are unique and currently unavailable in Alaska.

Although we began with only 20 different brands, principally bath, body, and skin care products, we have grown substantially, bringing in other unique product lines, from bath linens and luxury robes, loungewear and PJs, and women's fashion, to some of the world's finest lingerie with the largest selection of styles and sizes in Alaska. We now have over 100 carefully-selected brands for you to experience.

We'd like to thank all of our valued and loyal customers for your support over the years. Without you, the overwhelming success and growth of About Face would not have been possible. In March of 2008, About Face opened its new custom-designed storefront in South Anchorage, and on August 28, 2010, after seven years in our original downtown location, we completed the move to our new store and closed the downtown store permanently. We invite you to come meet our knowledgeable staff and experience our unique boutique.

Our store is located at the corner of Dimond and Old Seward, beside Starbucks in the Southgate Shopping Center. We love this great location for its convenience, free parking, and easy accessibility. You can also easily find us on Google Maps.

Whether we're your destination or a stop on the way to Starbucks, Best Buy, Costco or any of the many other shopping destinations in the Dimond area, you should definitely stop by to get your About Face fix.
